You missed a deliciously wicked rant about the corporate doublespeak emerging from Dick’s Sporting Goods in light of their fourth quarter performance and the rationalizations that followed.
I deleted it.
I was being a bad Christian and a bad Buddhist at the same time. Ouch.
Sometimes I just need to remember that a person’s life is sometimes its own punishment and we should feel compassion for people who are suffering.

Aw fiddlesticks…I missed all the fun.
That is indeed a good thing to remember. Thanks for posting it so I could. Now I will just let go of my niggling irritation with the mean paint chip guy in the parking lot and let his own life punish him. Much easier on me. Thanks again.

It wasn’t fun. It was rapier witty, some of my best material.
But it was mean-spirited, taking shots an a defenseless behemoth. I criticize them and I’m cool…they criticize me and I’m a victim of their corporate wrath and a martyr. No thanks to either.
I didn’t like myself after writing it. So I nuked it and will let the karma wheel continue on its own course, unencumbered by my clumsy attempts to arrogantly speed it up or slow it down.
I need to keep up on your blogging… I’m missing out!
Look both ways when crossing the street, the karma wheel can run you over.
